Today is IT Professionals Day! Our schools and students rely on technology for everything from lesson plans to attendance. Today, let's celebrate our IT professionals who keep our computer systems running smoothly and securely. We appreciate the work you do behind the scenes to ensure our students, teachers and schools are always connected!

📚✨ The Book Fair is here all week! We had our very first shopper today—5th Grader Drake West—who said, “This is the Best Day Ever!” 🎉 We can’t wait to see all of our families and scholars stop by to shop and explore📚✨

This month, all GSCS schools will help fight hunger in our community by participating in the Manna From Above Food Drive. You can help by sending canned goods to school with your students this month.

GSCS is excited to share that our Fall Fling 5K and Bazaar will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025! Register to participate in the 5K or just plan to come shop from our employee vendors. The event proceeds will benefit staff and teacher appreciation initiatives throughout the district.

✨📏 Our 1st Grade Scholars rocked math today with their clothing number line activity! By adding their parts of the “clothing line,” they showed off their place value skills while making abstract math concepts tangible and fun! 🌟🧮

All GSCS schools & offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in celebration of Labor Day.
