I would like to introduce myself; my name is Kamilah Gordon and I am the Parent Liaison for Moore Elementary. A Parent Liaison works to bridge the gap between home and school by assisting parents in understanding ways they can help their children with academics.

During this school year, you will have an opportunity to attend parent workshops that will be offered at flexible times.  Please look for information throughout the year regarding these workshops.

If you are looking for additional resources to assist your student at home, please check our website or visit our school Parent Resource Center located in the Media Center. Open during school hours, parents can browse through our assortment of: games, manipulatives, brochures, pamphlets and handouts to find wonderful resources to work with your child at home. Please feel free to contact me any time if you need support or information on how to improve your child's academic performance in school.

Moore Elementary Transition Field Day

Transition Workshop Recap!

If you missed our Rising 6th Grade Parent Engagement Workshop, we had a great turnout and an engaging session in the gym during Field Day! Families received valuable information to support their child’s transition to middle school, including tips for building independence and preparing for new routines. We also shared free Engage summer learning resources and featured a recorded video from the Griffin-Spalding County Library highlighting their summer reading program. Parents had the opportunity to ask questions, connect with one another, and leave with tools to help their students start middle school strong. All resources will be shared via Class Dojo and Social Media.
