I would like to introduce myself; my name is Kamilah Gordon and I am the Parent Liaison for Moore Elementary. A Parent Liaison works to bridge the gap between home and school by assisting parents in understanding ways they can help their children with academics.

During this school year, you will have an opportunity to attend parent workshops that will be offered at flexible times. Please look for information throughout the year regarding these workshops.

If you are looking for additional resources to assist your student at home, please check our website or visit our school Parent Resource Center located in the Media Center. Open during school hours, parents can browse through our assortment of: games, manipulatives, brochures, pamphlets and handouts to find wonderful resources to work with your child at home. Please feel free to contact me any time if you need support or information on how to improve your child's academic performance in school.

Transition Meeting

Thank you to the families who were able to attend our recent Transition Meeting. We appreciate your time and partnership in supporting our students as they transition to the next grade level.

During the meeting, we discussed important information regarding the transition process, available resources, future planning opportunities, and ways families can continue to support student success both at school and at home. It was a valuable opportunity to connect, ask questions, and collaborate as we prepare students for their future goals.
