I would like to introduce myself; my name is Kamilah Gordon and I am the Parent Liaison for Moore Elementary. A Parent Liaison works to bridge the gap between home and school by assisting parents in understanding ways they can help their children with academics.

During this school year, you will have an opportunity to attend parent workshops that will be offered at flexible times. Please look for information throughout the year regarding these workshops.

If you are looking for additional resources to assist your student at home, please check our website or visit our school Parent Resource Center located in the Media Center. Open during school hours, parents can browse through our assortment of: games, manipulatives, brochures, pamphlets and handouts to find wonderful resources to work with your child at home. Please feel free to contact me any time if you need support or information on how to improve your child's academic performance in school.

Moore Family Game Night!

Moore Elementary recently hosted an exciting and engaging Family Game Night, and it was a huge success! Our gym was filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful connections as families joined us for an evening of math and literacy games.

Each grade level facilitated interactive activities that allowed students and their families to learn together in a fun and supportive environment. From hands-on math challenges to engaging literacy games, families had the opportunity to experience strategies they can continue using at home.

We are incredibly grateful to our teachers and staff who helped set up, stayed beyond the school day, and facilitated games with such enthusiasm and care. Your dedication to building strong partnerships between school and home truly makes a difference.

Thank you to all of our families who attended and made the night so special. We look forward to continuing to create opportunities that bring our school community together!
